Writing Quality Blog Comments

We are learning to identify what a quality blog comment needs.

Here are some examples of our Google Drawing posters showing the parts of a quality blog post.

We practiced writing a comment that contains:

a greeting
something positive
something thoughtful
something helpful
a question

Here is our example:

  • Kia ora. My name is Cypress. I'm from Coastal Taranaki School.
  • You did a great job of explaining the meaning behind the kite. And I also like the way you included different versions of the story.
  • This reminded me of when  I was little and sang a song about the rainbow.
  • May sure if you use another kite it is as perfect as the first one.
  • What did you use to colour it?
How do you feel when someone says something positive, thoughtful or helpful about something you have created?

I love dad jokes like, I'm tired, Hi Tired, my name is Mr Brewer. In my family I have four people and three pets, my son Noah, My Daughter Elize, and Elizabeth my wife. My dogs are Sam and Tess, sam is white and Tess is Black. They look like the keys on a piano when we walk them down the road.
