Writing Quality Blog Comments

We are learning to identify what a quality blog comment needs.

Here are some examples of our Google Drawing posters showing the parts of a quality blog post.

We practiced writing a comment that contains:

a greeting
something positive
something thoughtful
something helpful
a question

Here is our example:

  • Kia ora. My name is Cypress. I'm from Coastal Taranaki School.
  • You did a great job of explaining the meaning behind the kite. And I also like the way you included different versions of the story.
  • This reminded me of when  I was little and sang a song about the rainbow.
  • May sure if you use another kite it is as perfect as the first one.
  • What did you use to colour it?
How do you feel when someone says something positive, thoughtful or helpful about something you have created?
