Who are Room 3?

WALT: take care of our Chromebooks and use Google Drawings to create a poster

Room 3 used Google Drawings to create introductory posters. 

We learned how to use Word Art for a title, insert our photo and change the font style, colour and background in a Drawing.

We then downloaded our posters as a PNG (so we had a transparent background) and uploaded it into the shared slide deck above.

We are learning to work together on a shared slide deck.

• being able to work collaboratively like this is an important skill (share a sample of everyone’s mahi, more efficient, can work together even when not sitting close to each other or even in the same room eg manaiakalani team, share ideas and help each other with problems,) and something that we will do often in our sessions.

• What can we do when working on this collaborative doc to make sure we are being SMART LEARNERS (using devices in smart and efficient ways, and being respectful to others online)?

• Only work on your assigned slide (use role to assign slide number)

• Focus on the task (don’t get distracted by changing backgrounds etc)

• Get straight to work and complete the task as quickly as possible following the directions given.

• Shark device when complete.
